God's unique plan for you
Each of us is wonderfully made with a specific design and purpose. God has endowed you with unique gifts and talents, meant to be used for His glory and for the benefit of others. As it says in 1 Corinthians 7:7, "I wish that all of you were as I am, but each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that." This scripture reminds us that every person has a spiritual gift, whether it's musical talent, the gift of speaking, discernment, or helping others. Your calling is intricately linked to these divine endowments.
Seeking and finding your purpose
Discerning your calling doesn't have to be a solitary journey. God encourages us to seek Him with all our hearts. Jeremiah 29:11 beautifully states, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This promise reassures us that God has good plans for our lives. If you want to know your gift and calling, surrender to Him, pray, and seek Him wholeheartedly. He promises that when you seek Him, you will find Him.
My journey of reflection
Just like many of you, I am also on a journey of self-reflection to understand my legacy and calling. After more than five decades, I find myself asking, "Where can I best serve Him?" My professional life has always revolved around helping adults and children, and I deeply desire to align my path even more closely with God's purpose for me. This website, Ingrid's Corner, is a part of that journey, and I invite you to share in this exploration of faith, purpose, and spiritual growth.
