Directions:
Put a few safe, familiar objects in a bag. Without looking, students can feel one object and make observations.
Ask:
Is it hard or soft?
Is it smooth or rough?
Is it big or small?
What do you think it is?
Then reveal the object and talk about how scientists make observations using their senses.
