God's perfect timing: A daily reminder
In the inspiring words of singer and songwriter, Dottie Peoples, "He's an On Time God...He may not come when you want him, but he'll be there right on time." This truth resonated deeply with me today through two distinct situations, both showcasing God's perfect timing, not mine. This morning, I began coloring to relax in the stillness, but a clear inner voice prompted me to stop, journal, and listen. As I wrote, my thoughts stalled. Turning to social media, a young man on my TikTok feed exclaimed, "He said at the right time God will make it happen. God will work it out and God has got to test your strength and your faith." He then quoted Isaiah 60:22: "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen" (NLT). His words and the scripture uplifted my spirit, confirming that divine timing is always at play.

Exceeding expectations: God's care in the small things
My second experience happened at the hair salon. I left my phone charger there, only realizing it after making a second trip back to ensure I had all my belongings. I was so mad at myself because I had errands to run tomorrow and truly needed my phone charger. While I admit I have a bad habit of leaving things behind, the disappointment festered into a feeling of depression. Then, a small voice inside whispered, "Don't let little things trouble you." When I got home, I found a USB C cable, hooked it up to my adapter, and it charged even faster than the charger I had left behind! This reminded me of Ephesians 3:20: "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" (NIV). I share this because God cares about what troubles us, big or small. We must learn to trust his timetable, knowing he is God, and he can exceed our expectations in every way.

Connecting with God's strength
My hope is to connect with believers who love God but sometimes falter in their own strength, needing God's daily guidance. After reading this, I want you to feel a renewed sense of peace and understanding that God is always working for your good, even when it’s not immediately apparent. Remember this: "He's an On-time God, he may not come when you want him, but he will be there right on time." This truth can transform how you approach challenges, big and small, knowing that his timing is always perfect, and his love is unfailing. Trust in his divine plan and find strength in his unwavering presence.
